Maghfirat Talab Karo

Sayyiduna Zaid (RadhiAllaho anho) narrates:

I heard Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) saying;
If anyone says:

Astaghfir ullah-alladhi la ilaha illa

Huwal-Haiyul-Qayyumu, wa atubu ilaihi

(I seek forgiveness of Allah besides Whom there is non worthy of worship,

the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, and I turn to Him in repentance)

his sins will be forgiven

even if he should have run away from the battlefield.

(while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah)

In another narration, these words are to be repeated three times.

A tree will be planted for you in Paradise.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RadhiAllaho anho) narrates
that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)
passed by me and I was planting a sapling.

He (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) asked
O Abu Hurairah !
What are you planting ?
I replied:
Saplings for myself.
He (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said:
Shall I not tell you of better saplings than these?
I said: yes O Rasulallah!
(sallal laahu alaihi wasallam)
He (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said:

Say,

Subhanallah
(Glory be to Allah Who is above all faults)

Alhamdulillah
(Praise be to Allah)

La ilaha illallah
(There is none worthy of worship except Allah)

Allahuakbar
( Allah is the Greatest )

for each one of these words
a tree will be planted for you in Paradise.

Rat Ka Aakhri Hissa

Sayyiduna Amr ibne Abasah (RadhiAllaho anho) narrates
that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) told me:

Indeed, the closest the Rabb comes to His slave,
is in the last part of the night;
If you can remember Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala
at that time, then do so.

{ Mustadrak Hakim }

Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (RadhiAllaho anho) narrates
that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

The suplications of the distressed is:

Allahuma rahmathaka arjoo fala takilnee ilaa nafsi tarfata AAayn,

wa-aslih lee shaa-nee kullah, laa ilaha illah anth.

( O Allah! Your mercy is what I hope for.

Do not abandon me to my desires, even to the blinking of an eye,

and put all my affairs in order for me;

none is worthy of worship but You. )
